Taylor Wieland
Paralegal
Taylor Wieland works on Freeman & Fuson’s family law team alongside Marissa Knight and Carolanne King, handling everything from researching and drafting motions to pre-trial discovery, mediation, direct client communication, and day-to-day law office management. She came to the firm after taking family law courses in law school and looking for a way into the practice area, and Freeman & Fuson stood out for its reputation among both clients and student interns. Once she interviewed with the family law department, she found a team that shared her focus on compassionate client advocacy.
She is currently attending Belmont University College of Law, where she serves as Vice President of the Family Law Society and expects to earn her J.D. in May 2027. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Corporate Communication from Belmont University, where she played on the women’s soccer team, made Dean’s List, and was a member of Lambda Pi Eta and the Athlete Mentorship Program. Her casework has taken her through Davidson County’s General Sessions, Criminal, Juvenile, and Family Courts.
Outside the office, Taylor is a former Belmont goalkeeper who still makes time for new hobbies, from fitness classes to art projects, along with time outdoors and with friends. Most weekends, she can be found at a local coffee shop with a good book.
