Makenzie Clark has worked her way through three of Freeman & Fuson’s practice groups on her way to civil litigation, where she now works alongside Partner Mark Freeman and Associate Attorney Katherine Parkinson. Around the office, everyone calls her Mak.
She is currently attending Nashville School of Law at night, working toward her J.D. while working full time at the firm, and she holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Tennessee Tech University. Along the way she has picked up a notary certification and firsthand experience in family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation, having worked cases in each department before ever studying them in a classroom.
Ask her why she has stuck around, and she will tell you it is the people. Off the clock, she is on the lake in the summer, curled up with a book, or at home with her dog and two cats, who outnumber her two to one and know it.
