Sarah Hastings
Paralegal to Joseph W. Fuson
Sarah Hastings works on Freeman & Fuson’s criminal defense team as Joey Fuson’s paralegal and is often the first person a client talks to at the firm. She’s a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist through the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and a member of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, credentials she’s held since January 2023 that shape how she works with clients navigating recovery alongside their case.
She joined Freeman & Fuson in early 2021. She’s currently attending Nashville School of Law at night, where she made Dean’s List for the 2025–2026 school year and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from Keiser University, earned summa cum laude, along with an Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies, also from Keiser, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
