S. Blake Bratcher, Esq.Attorney (Former Prosecutor)
Blake Bratcher is an associate attorney for Freeman & Fuson. Before joining the firm, he served as a Staff Attorney for the Tennessee State Trial Courts. Prior to this role, Bratcher served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 20th Judicial District in Nashville where he prosecuted various crimes ranging from misdemeanors to Class A felonies. Prior to his tenure as a prosecutor, Bratcher served in Nashville as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Steve Dozier of the Division 1 Criminal Court and the Honorable Philip Smith of the 4th Circuit Court. Bratcher is admitted to practice in Tennessee, and his practice will be devoted to landlord tenant disputes, criminal defense, civil litigation, crisis management, business formation, and professional license revocation defense.
Blake is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Lipscomb University where he earned his degree in Corporate Management and lettered in baseball. He was named to the 2008 NCAA All Regional Team and also currently ranks in Lipscomb’s top 15 all-time for hits, runs batted in, and doubles in a single season. He received his law degree from Nashville School of Law where he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into the Cooper’s Inn Honor Society.
Blake also serves on multiple non-profit boards including the 4:13 Strong Program, a rehabilitative and job readiness program for young men, and The Joseph School, a leadership school in Cabaret, Haiti. He serves as the Executive Director of the Lipscomb University Baseball Alumni Association. He is a member of First Baptist Nashville where he serves on the Missions Committee. Blake is also an avid real estate investor and spends his spare time serving in the community, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
